Oprah Winfrey to return to 'Letterman' in August

Oprah Winfrey is set to appear on David Letterman's late-night talkshow this August, it has been announced. 

It will be the second time that the media mogul will guest on the show, after the end of her and Letterman's longtime feud.

In December 2005 she guested on the show after several years of refusing to work with Letterman. 

According to Deadline, Winfrey will make her second appearance on the CBS show on August 1. 

Winfrey will be promoting her upcoming filmThe Butler, scheduled to debut in US theatres on August 16. 

There is no word on whether she will address Rae Dawn Chong's recent controversial comments about her.
